Educational Qualifications and Work Experience:
Mr. Avishkar Verma is a legal academic at KLE Law College, Bengaluru, where he teaches Constitutional Law, Environmental Law, and Administrative Law. He holds an LL.M. in Law and Development from Azim Premji University and a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from the National Law Institute University, Bhopal. His research interests include constitutional governance, reproductive justice, environmental law, administrative reform, access to public infrastructure, freedom of speech, and judicial interpretation. He has contributed scholarly writings, including book chapters on the Greater Bengaluru Governance Act and the intersection of reproductive harm and environmental law in India, along with research on blasphemy laws across SAARC nations. His academic work also includes a dissertation examining executive discretionary power through a social justice lens. In addition to teaching and research, he actively mentors students for national and international moot court competitions, reflecting his commitment to integrating doctrinal scholarship with practical legal training.
