1. WHAT IS THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE?

Preferred mode of admission is through LSAT — INDIATM Entrance Test and CLAT score.

Candidates with high score (above 70 % in +2 exam) may walk-in for personal interview for direct admission after applying online at https://www.klelawcollege.edu.in/applyonline-1st-year/ and being shortlisted.

Selection lists for academic year 2020-21 shall be published as per the below schedule:

  • First Selection List – 5th June 2020
  • Second Selection List – 26th June 2020
  • Final Selection List – 16th July 2020
 
2. IS THERE ANY ENTRANCE TEST?

Yes. Admissions primarily on LSAT, CLAT score and Top Score at +2 Level are also considered for admission on selection basis.

3. IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT FOR JOINING THESE COURSES?

Yes.

5-year BALLB, BBALLB, BCOMLLB courses: General Merit – 20 years, SC/ST/OBC – 22 years

3-year LLB course: General Merit – 30 years, SC/ST/OBC – 35 years

4. WHAT IS THE LAST DATE TO APPLY FOR 5-YEAR AND 3-YEAR COURSES?

July 15th. But admissions may get closed before this date too.

5. WHAT ARE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS REQUIRED?

FOR 5-year BA/BBA/BCOM LLB course:

  • SSLC / 10th grade Original Marks Card
  • PUC I / 11th grade Original Marks Card
  • PUC II / 12th grade Original Marks Card
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Migration Certificate (Only for CBSE/ ISC/ IB and Non Karnataka Students)
  • Aadhar Card
  • Caste certificate and income certificate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Cat-1 students
  • Three sets of photocopies of all the above documents
  • Four passport size photos

FOR 3-year LL B course:

  • SSLC / 10th grade Original Marks Card
  • PUC I / 11th grade Original Marks Card
  • PUC II / 12th grade Original Marks Card
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Migration Certificate (Only for CBSE/ ISC/ IB and Non Karnataka Students)

6. WILL THE COLLEGE KEEP ORIGINALS AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION?

Yes. After admission approval from KSLU, they will be returned (in the month of Dec 2020).

9. DO YOU HAVE HOSTEL FACILITIES?

Yes.

1. Hostel facility for Girls and Boys is available on first come first serve basis at ‘K.L.E Society’s Hostels, Behind K L E Dental College, No.20, Industrial Suburb, 2nd stage, Goreguntepalya,Tumkur Road, Bengaluru-560022’

Fees: Rs. 55,200/- per annum. Mess charges approximately Rs. 4000/- per month on

dividing basis.

2. Hostel facility near campus for Boys / Girls available at Rs. 1,10,000 / Rs 1,20,000 per annum inclusive of food.

Assistance shall be provided by our Admission Counsellor at college.

10. HOW ARE THE PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN K.L.E’S LAW COLLEGE?

100% assistance will be provided through internships, placement training and recruitment drives.

The Placement Drive has had past recruiters as Mindcrest, Bajaj Allianz, Future Generali,Trans India Law Associates among many. Job opportunities in the nature of Law firms, LPOs, Corporate firms, practicing advocates are made available to the students registered with the Placement Committee around the year.

11. DOES THE COLLEGE PROVIDE DISTANCE EDUCATION?

No. Legal education throughout the country is imparted only through regular course according to BCI rules.

Class Timings – 9 am to 2:30 pm

Office and Library – 9 am to 5 pm

15. DOES THE COLLEGE PROMOTE EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES?

Keeping in mind all round development of personality of the students, the college provides a platform to pursue their interest in Sports and Cultural activities conducted within and outside the College. Fresher’s Day and Annual Day are held where students can exhibit their talents. Periodical Guest Lectures from legal luminaries, Moot Court Competitions, Essay, Debate, Mock-trial, Model – Lok Sabha, Client Counseling and Interviewing, legal aid camps, legal awareness programmes and as a part of clinical education Jail visits are also arranged for the students.

16. DOES THE COLLEGE PROVIDE ANY PRACTICAL TRAINING FOR DEVELOPING THE ADVOCACY SKILLS?

Yes, college organizes multiple events like Moot Court Competition, Client Counseling, Court Observation, Drafting and Pleading and many other activities as a part of the Practical training,Presentations.
