KLE Technological University, Hubballi, is a multidisciplinary university committed to excellence in teaching, research, innovation and societal engagement. Sponsored by the Karnatak Lingayat Education Society, the University carries forward the Society’s longstanding commitment to making quality education accessible and relevant to the needs of society.
The University has its roots in the B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology, established by the KLE Society in Hubballi in 1947 to advance technical education in northern Karnataka. Building upon the institution’s academic heritage, industry engagement and culture of innovation, KLE Technological University has developed into a
contemporary higher-education institution with a strong emphasis on experiential learning, interdisciplinary education and research.
KLE Technological University functions through its campuses at Hubballi, Belagavi and Bengaluru. The B. V. Bhoomaraddi Campus is situated in Hubballi, the Dr. M. S. Sheshgiri Campus in Belagavi, and the KLE Law Campus in Bengaluru. Across these campuses, the University offers programmes in engineering, technology, architecture, management,
commerce, computer applications, science, design, legal studies and advanced research.
