The KLELCB Law library is a gateway to the primary, authentic, core legal information to its users. Our library, with a vision to provide state-of-the-art information environment, supports academic activities by providing an ideal learning and researching facility to the library users viz.
Faculty, students, alumni etc. Library provides services such as library orientation, circulation, OPAC which facilitate resource searching, current awareness service, news paper clipping service, photocopy, print service, remote access to e-resources, plagiarism check and Wi-Fi facility. Library is open on all working day (Monday-Saturday) between 9 AM to 5.30 PM. And on Sunday 10.am.to 2 .00pm
Collection of rare books, manuscripts, special reports or any other knowledge resources for library enrichment (QLM) – The library being 50 years old has a good collection of classic and authentic books to aid the college faculty and students in teaching, learning process. The collection is developed over the years with recommendations of subject experts and requirements of the library user community. Library has a multidisciplinary collection which includes:

Library is Automated Using Integrated Library Management System (ILMS)

Library housekeeping services is automated using the KOHA 23.05.02 Integrated Library Management Software with the multi user software license in the year 2023 and at present library is working with upgraded KOHA 23.05.02 – Web Version, KOHA 23.05.02 Professional software helps in providing uninterrupted library services through its dynamic modules explained below.
Web-OPAC (Open Public Access Catalogue): Library user can search books of the college library sitting anywhere in the world. It provides search by Title, Author, Subject, Keyword, and many more. It also gives complete information of the member with lists of books borrowed, books requested, due fine, book reservation and it is password protected.
In-out management: It helps in maintaining library visits by the users, which is connected to library system through barcode scanner. Extensive reports of visitors can be generated.
Circulation: All library print materials are bar coded and circulation (book issue, return and renewal) is done with the barcode scanner which saves time and helps in maintaining

KOHA 23.05.02 software helps library in keeping its records up to date with its Catalogue / accessioning where all library materials data is maintained, Membership management module where in members details are maintained and Periodicals module which helps in maintaining periodicals accession and records management. Acquisition Management, Feedback, Stock verification, Multilanguage, Digital library and Reports are the other modules which makes library operations easy and transparent.
