The Students of K.L.E Society’s Law College, Bengaluru along with the teacher coordinators visited the Government Primary School, Bilikallu, Bengaluru (North) on 5-6-2018 to celebrate World Environment Day. The main objective was to create awareness about environment to the underprivileged children. Smt. Madhumalathi, Head Mistress, GLPS, Bilikallu was the chief guest of the programme. Ms Sharmila H.S and Geeta G.V Assistant Professors Co-ordinated the event.
Days like World Environment Day, help bring these issues to the consciousness of people all around the world. Activities such as cleaning up the school premises and planting saplings were conducted involving the school children as well. The children were educated through a brief talk about the raising environmental pollution and what each one of us can do to make the situation better. The event ended with oath taking and the distribution of fruits to the children.
