Gender Justice: Protection of Rights of Women

Objectives: The course intends to provide a brief outline of laws relating to the rights of women. It aims toacquaint students on the various legal provisions relating to the rights of women under the Constitution and Statutory Law.

  1. Women Rights as Human Rights (3 hrs)

 

  1. Protection of Women Rights under the Constitution (8 hrs)                                     

 

  1. Law Relating to Crimes against Women: An Overview of Indian Scenario (7 hrs)

 

  1. Laws protecting Women at work place including special provisions of Labour Laws (5 hrs)

 

 

  1. Property Rights of Hindu Women (5 hrs)
