On 1^st of December, 2017 our college observed the AIDS Awareness Day. On the occasion Mr. Manojkumar V. Hiremath, Assistant Professor, spoke on the relevance of observing the AIDS Awareness Day. Dr. Subramanya Goudappanvar, Associate Professor, spoke on the legal aspects involved in addressing the problems of AIDS infected persons including children born to them. He talked about the role of courts, legal advisors and students in eradicate the myths regarding AIDS from the general public. He motivated the students to help the exploited people by removing the obliviousness in the general public about AIDS and its disease and furthermore to know about the Government programs for the people in question and utilize the learning to help the individuals who need the same. Dr. J.M.Mallikarjunaiah, Principal, gave presidential remarks. On the occasion all the faculty and students wore the red ribbon to show solidarity with the victims of AIDS.
